Overview
Compliance Center is an application that assists newly hired employees in completing their new hire forms and on-boarding tasks assigned to them by their new employer.
Project Goals
Create a new hire task management application that will organize and walk the user through each (usually somewhat complicated) step of the process that has been assigned to them from their employer.
An intuitive experience is needed for mobile users to complete new hire forms and tasks in a timely manner to meet federal and their employers deadlines
Challenges
Challenges for this project were creating a useful app that considers the real life challenges involved with the complexity of the on-boarding processes for new hire employees.
As well as the notion that most users would be completing this task on mobile. Which brings into consideration the need for environmental and ergonomic challenges.
Topic Research
I researched the new hire process from the employees perspective by reviewing multiple clients onboarding processes and conducted surveys with an hr admins on their experience and pain points with onboarding processes.
My Role & Team
As one of two UX designers on the project, I worked closely with my design counterpart and collaborated with product owners, stakeholders, a product architect, and in house development team.
Ideation + Validation
I created prototypes of the new mobile onboarding experience and tested the patterns and task flows in Usability Hub with a curated panel of users to gather feedback and iterate on designs prior to development to ensure user needs and business objectives were adhered to.
